Dr. J. Christopher Schmidt, Jr., a Shreveport native and lifelong Tiger, earned his DDS and Master of Science in Dentistry from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. After spending time in South Louisiana, he returned to Benton to serve the community and be closer to his family. Passionate about pediatric care, Dr. Schmidt is dedicated to creating positive dental experiences for his patients, inspired by his own childhood visits to the dentist and his love for working with children.

What to Expect
During Your First Visit
The 318 Team will welcome you and your child, discuss medical history, and provide a tour to help your child feel at ease. Dr. Schmidt will gently examine your child’s teeth, offer oral hygiene tips, and help schedule the next visit for ongoing care.
